1. 1938 Bugatti 57 S(C) Atlantic

The Bugatti 57SC Atlantic is one of the most famous cars from Bugatti. Only two Bugatti 57SC were built and Ralph Lauren is one of the lucky owners. Under the hood, the Type 57SC is powered by a supercharged straight 8 cylinder engine fitted with twin overhead camshafts and a compressor. It is capable to accelerate up to 200 kph which is pretty impressive for a car built in the late 30s.

The 1929 4½ Liter Birkin “Blower” will definitely blow you up with its 45-gallon fuel tank, stone guards, the oil reservoir in the cowl and cord-wrapped steering wheel. It was one of the three Birkin Bentleys that entered in the 1930 24 Hour Le Mans Race where it was driven by Benjafield & Ramponi.

3. 1930 Mercedes-Benz SSK “Count Trossi”

The production of the 1930 Mercedez-Benz SSK is between 1928 and 1932. Fewer than 40 SSKs were built but most of them were crashed while racing. Only four or five entirely original SSK were remain. The SSK “Count Trossi”-bodied version has won best of show at both the 1993 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and the 2007 Concorso D’Eleganza Villa d’Este. Under the hood, it is powered by a supercharged 7.1-liter SOHC engine. Although it is a car that built in 1930, the power is still above many cars on the road today.

5. 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 Mille Miglia

It is fitted with a straight 8 cylinder 2.9 liter engine with twin overhead camshafts supercharged by two compressors. For better handling, the car is equipped with fully independent suspension and a four speed rear transaxle. The top speed? Definitely over 185 kph without any problem.

6. 1933 Bugatti 59 Grand Prix

The Bugatti 59 Grand Prix was the final Bugatti race car of the 1930s. It features an enlarged 3.3 L version of the straight 8 cylinder engine with twin overhead camshafts and supercharged to pumps 250 hp. The piano wire wheels is one of the most notable items on this car. Only 8 of these cars were made and one of it is now available in the Ralph Lauren car collection.

7. 1954 Ferrari 375 Plus

The Ferrari 375 Plus is a supercar built by Ferrari in 1954. It is powered by a V12 engine fitted with 3 carburettors and paired with a four-speeds plus reverse gearbox. The engine is pushing 340 hp and it is capable to reach a top speed of 250 kph. Only five Ferrari 375 Plus were built and again, one of it is inside Ralph Lauren collection.

8. 1955 Jaguar XKD

The Jaguar XKD is built on a monocoque structure. It features a 3.4-liter straight 6 cylinder engine that is capable to speed up to a top speed of 260 kph. In 1950s, the Jaguar D is the fastest production car and also the most successful racing car. Only 10 of the Jaguar XKD were built, including Ralph Lauren’s 505/601.

The 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder is a big head-turner. Whenever this car appears, there will be flash lights! It features a flat 4-cylinder air-cooled 1,498 cc engine pumping 110 CV. The horsepower is not high compared to other cars in Ralph Lauren collection but it is capable to accelerate up to 218 kph. Only 90 of the Porsche 550 Spyder were built. It is definitely a luck if you own one of these.

10. 1958 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa

The Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa was named after the red camshaft covers of its V12 2953cc engine. It is a race car built by Ferrari in the 1950s and 60s. Red often represents power. The V12 in Testa Rossa is pumping nearly 300 hp to achieve a top speed of 270 kph. In all, only 34 350 Testa Rossa were built.
