6. Koenigsegg CCX

If you own a Koenigsegg CCX, you can accelerate it from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 3.2 seconds. You can then continue pedal it all the way up to a top speed of 395 kmh (245 mph). The Koenigsegg CCX is powered by a 4700 cc aluminum V8 engine. The engine comes with double overhead camshafts and each cylinder features 4 values. That combination, is giving a total of 806 horsepower to this super car.

7. McLaren F1

Although the production of McLaren F1 is in between 1992 and 1999, it is still without doubt one of the top 10 fastest street legal car with a top speed of 240 mph (386.243 kmh). With a 627 horsepower V12 engine under the hood, it has the ability to reach 60 from 0 in just 3.2 seconds. Until 2016, the McLaren F1 is a legendary super cars due to it’s exterior design and superb performance. If we have to tag the McLaren F1, it has to be super exotic sports cars.

8. Saleen S7 Twin Turbo

By looking at the Saleen S7 Twin Turbo, you will definitely know it is a fast car. Under the hood, it is equipped with a 750 hp engine paired with two Garrett turbochargers producing 0.4 bar (5.5 psi) of boost. Such a powerful set up is capable to hit 60 from 0 in just 2.8 seconds. Top speed? 248 mph (399 km/h).

9. Zenvo ST1

With a top speed of 233 mph (374.977 kmh), the Zenvo ST1 is a fast cool car. At the engine bay, it features a 7.0-liter V8 engine with both a turbocharger and a supercharger producing 1,104 hp. That combination allows the driver to accelerate from zero to 60 in just 3 seconds, and a top speed of 375 km/h (233 mph). The Zenvo ST1 is entirely a result of Danish design. Unfortunately, there are only 15 cars were built and sold, thus it is very rare.

10. Pagani Huayra

The Pagani Huayra is a high performance sports car produced by Italian car maker Pagani. Its 6.0 liter twin-turbo V12 engine is developed by Mercedes-AMG. Together with a 7-speed sequential transmission, it produces 720 bhp and 1,100 Nm of torque. From 0-62 mph (0-100km/h), it takes only 3.0 seconds. As for the top speed, it is capable to reach 230 mph (370 km/h). To own one Pagani Huayra, the price to pay is approximately $1.3 million dollars.

Other fastest street legal cars: Noble M600 (Top Speed: 225 mph) and Lamborghini Aventador (Top Speed: 220 mph).

Top 10 Fastest Street Legal Car

Now we are talking about the top 10 fastest street legal car produced in 2016. These are the fastest production cars as they are street legal. Often, they come with a high price tag but wealthy people are still able to buy them and drive them on the road legally. Those home-made sports cars or non-street legal cars are not available in this list. Check out the list after the jump.

1. Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

So far, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is claimed to be the world’s fastest street legal car. With 1,200 bhp under the hood, the car is capable to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62.1 mph) in just 2.46 seconds. That’s the time you couldn’t even take off your pants. As for the top speed, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is capable to achieve 431.072 km/h (267.856 mph), making it the fastest street legal car on the road today.

2. Hennessey Venom GT

If your dream is to own the world’s fastest street legal car, buy the Hennessey Venom GT. Although there are difficulties with claims, the Hennessey Venom GT has a recorded top speed of 270.49 mph (435.31 km/h). Thanks to the 7000cc 1244 bhp engine under the hood, it takes only 2.7 seconds from 0 to 60 mph.

3. Koenigsegg Agera R

With the top speed of 260 mph and an extinguish exterior, the Koenigsegg Agera R is one of a real fast cool cars. This car has an 1140 hp engine under the hood with over 1000 Nm of torque. The maximum torque is 1200 Nm at 4,100 rpm. From 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph), it takes only 2.8 seconds. As for the transmission, it uses a specially developed 7-speed dual clutch system. From 0-300 km/h, it takes 14.53 seconds and from 300-0 km/h, it takes 6.66 seconds. There is one Koenigsegg Agera R was used as the Fast and Furious cars.

4. SSC Ultimate Aero

The American made SSC Ultimate Aero has a top speed of 257 mph and that speed give him a seat in the fastest production car list. Under the car hood, it is powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine with more than 1,000 hp. From 0-60 mph, the SSC Ultimate Aero only needs 2.78 seconds. As for ¼ mile, it takes 9.90 seconds at 144 mph.

5. 9ff GT9-R Vmax

The 9ff GT9-R Vmax is a 2-seater super sports car that has a proven top speed of 271.539 mph (437 km/h). No doubt it has the face of a Porsche 911 but it is still a unique sports car that has a 1,400 hp of engine power. The six-cylinder boxer engine with bi-turbo charging is capable to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds.

Lamborghini’s New Supercar – The Lamborghini Veneno

What do you have in mind if we tell you Lamborghini is launching a new supercar very soon? If you are planning to buy the latest supercar from Lamborghini, it is time to break your piggy bank and see how much savings you have because Lamborghini is launching a super supercar – the Lamborghini Veneno. None of the supercar makers have the idea to build an ultimate sports car like Lamborghini does. The Lamborghini Veneno is supposed to be launched at the upcoming 83^rd Geneva International Motor Show which will be held on 7-17 March, 2013. However, thanks to the power of internet, the image of the Veneno is leaked a few days before the Motor Show and here we have got some information about the car.

Lamborghini Veneno

The Veneno was built to celebrate Lamborghini’s 50^th anniversary (Lamborghini was founded on 30 October 1963). From the leaked images, we believe the car shares the same chassis with Lamborghini Aventador. Thanks to some information collected from Autogen, we came to know that the Veneno is powered by a 6.5-liter V-12 engine associated to a 7-speed automatic manual transmission. This combination has the capability to push the car up to a top speed of 220 mph (354.056 km/h). Perhaps we will have to update the record of fastest car in the world once this car went into production. Up to date, such an ultimate sports car has received three bookings before it goes into production. According to some other sources, the three pre-booked Lamborghini Veneno will be in red, white, or green touches to match the Italian flag. As for the price tag, the Veneno is priced at $4 million. The Toyota 86 a.k.a Hachiroku (86 in Japanese) is the reborn of the legendary Toyota AE86. Guess what? It is one of the very best sports cars on earth today and that’s not for the people in the photo above.

Douchebag DON’T drive the fastest car in the world, Bugatti Veyron is definitely not for them. The top speed of 253 mph will make them scream and look for their mom in car. So, DON’T.

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG opens its wing like an eagle prepares to take off. It is such a cool car that has the temper and power of eagle. Simply a nice sports car to be owned.

Here’s one super exotic sports car that could accelerate from 0 to 60 in just 2.7 seconds. Don’t you think a normal driver can’t drive this car?

Ferrari F12 Berlinetta is currently the fastest Ferrari up to date that pumps 740 CV at 8,500 rpm. It’s a cool exotic car for cool people.

Mitsuoka Orochi

As we all know, Mitsuoka Motors is a small Japanese car maker that build cars with eccentric styling. Today, we are going to put our hands on the unconventional and the only super cars produced by Mitsuoka – The Mitsuoka Orochi. First look, do you feel it looks like a legendary super car from Honda? Yes, we mean the NSX. The Orochi is built based on the Honda NSX platform and it was first debut at the 2001 Tokyo Motor Show. Some visitors who attended the Motor Show wowed a few times while some nayed a several times. Some people love the design but some feel it is the ugliest super cars ever made by Japanese.

Other than the look, some people nay because of the name – Mitsuoka Orochi or ???? in Japanese. The direct translation ?? (Chinese) literally means “Big Snake”. In fact, the head of the car does look like a big snake. However, for some people who love the shape of the car, will scream for it because it is one of a kind. There are no other super cars in the market similar to the Orochi. Let’s see what makes it a unique sports car.

Engine and Performance

The mid-engined sports car is powered a 3.3-liter 3MZ-FE V6 engine mated to a five-speed automatic gearbox. The engine produces a mere 230 HP (172 kW) and a maximum of 328 Nm of torque at 4400rpm. The engine sound very familiar when one of our crew rev on it. This is because the V6 cylinder is the same found in the fifth generation Camry. Thanks to the light weight body which weighs 1580kg, the car is capable to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds. On the other hand, the NSX feel-alike Orochi has a top speed of ONLY 180 km/h (112mph) during full throttle.

Suspension wise, the front and rear are fitted with double wishbone suspension. Standard front tires are 245/45ZR18 and rear tires are 285/40ZR18. Based on the performance and the specs, what do you prefer to call this car? Super car? Exotic car? Sports car or super exotic sports car?

Interior

When we sat into the car, it seems like a time machine that brought us back to the interior of a Honda NSX. It does feel like the Nissan 300ZX too. The interior of Orochi is trimmed with full leather. Standard features include motorized door mirror, automatic air-conditioning, a Panasonic HDD Navigation at the center, power windows, immobilizer, and three beautiful yet practical gauges in front of the steering wheel. Safety features include airbags, side impact door with built-in steel beams, and handmade steel space frame.

Price

It is roughly ¥10,500,000 (~$131,600 USD) and limited to only 20 units. For those who really love this sports car that has unconventional style, place your order now before it is too late.
